This series consists of certificate sets and other records pertaining to the votes of New Hampshire's electors for President and Vice President. These certificate sets were delivered to the judge or chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire. The records include certificates of ascertainment (or appointment of electors) issued by the Governor of New Hampshire; certificates of election of substitute electors to fill vacancies; and certificates of vote for President and Vice President issued by the electors during their meetings at Exeter (1792 election) and at the New Hampshire State House in Concord (all other elections in this series).
